Hudsonville is a small town nestled between Georgetown Twp and Jamestown in Ottawa County, Michigan. With a population of just 7,116 and 4.14 square miles, this quaint area has a strong history in the state. It was first founded in 1856 by Englishman Homer Hudson, who relocated from Ohio in hopes of planting fruit trees. In 1872, the area he settled became known as Hudsonville by the Federal Government and went on to become an official city in 1957. It has been credited as one of the fastest-growing areas in the state of Michigan and has had three industrial parks built to keep up with demands. There were also two community parks and various nature areas that have been developed and maintained for residents to enjoy throughout the years.
