Georgetown Township is a large charter township located in Ottawa County, Michigan. First established in 1840, the township is located close to Hudsonville, as well as the community of Jenison that shares half of the population. It is estimated that the population of Georgetown Twp is 46,985 and the area covers 33.5 square miles of land. The township was first settled in 1834 by European-American brothers Hiram and Samuel Jenison. The community is located close to Grand Rapids and is also a short drive from Millenium Park and Rosewood Park. Celebration Cinema Rivertown is located just off the Gerald R. Ford Freeway and is a great stop for both couples or families.
